The Lego Organization History

The Lego company opened in 1932 when Danish carpenter Ole Kirk Christiansen started making playthings for a living. He struggled to make ends meet in the absolute depths of the Great Depression, but the small prototypes he previously made of items like ironing planks and ladders had superb potential while children’s important link toys.
